Monitorování základních životních funkcí pomocí optického vlákna

Abstract

The work is dedicated monitoring of vital functions, especially breathing and heartbeat with the help of optical fibers. This is a multidisciplinary work in witch is includes biomedical, optical sensors and signal processing. For measurements using optical fiber can be used two systems. It was used in an optical interferometer or a fiber Bragg grating. Both optical systems are fundamentally described in this work. Measurement of optical fibers was performed using ECG reference measurement for quality control measurements. The resulting finding was that optical fibers are able to measure both vital function under given conditions. However, conditions are difficult to interpret in a hospital environment for real patients.
