Internacionalizace malých a středních podniků v České republice při expanzi na zahraniční trhy

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic during their expansion into foreign markets. The aim of the thesis is to identify key target foreign markets and formulate recommendations based on an analysis of the internationalization process. The theoretical part defines the fundamental concepts of international business, characterizes small and medium-sized enterprises and presents selected theoretical approaches to internationalization, including strategic decisions related to timing, market selection, and entry modes. The practical part is based on the analysis of primary and secondary data, with primary data collected through a questionnaire survey conducted among Czech enterprises. The research results focus on export geographical diversification, entry modes used in foreign markets, timing of internationalization activities, and identification of key barriers. Based on the findings, recommendations are proposed to enhance the effective involvement of enterprises in international business activities.
