Abstract

In this thesis approaches the problem of eco-labeling, its origin, essence and main advantages of this system. Attention is focused on eco-labeling system in the Czech Republic, its origins, principles and goals are well defined procedures for the selection of product categories and technical guidelines. Attention is focused on eco-labeling system in the Federal Republic of Germany, its main principles and application and removal of the trade mark. One of the main points of this thesis is a comparison of technical guidelines in the Czech Republic and Germany. Essence, the technical design of the German eco-label for that region in the Czech Republic, which is not captured by this Guidelines.
