Abstract

The Bachelor's Diploma Thesis deals with the question of liquidation, which is one of the form of closing a business. To make the theme more concrete, I divided the area of closing a business with liquidation into natural and legal persons. I dealt with the area of legal persons in details with the focus on particular company types. Further the way of liquidation procedure is theoretically described. These findings are subsequently applied in the practical part. My aim in the thesis was to treat the theme in a way it could serve as a guideline for trading companies, which get into trouble and decide to close a business with liquidation.
