Využití metody plánování experimentů (DOE) k optimalizaci analytické metody ve vodohospodářské laboratoři

Abstract

The main purpose of this work was to verify a possible practical usage of the method of Design of Experiments (DOE) for optimization of the analytical method (determination of AOX) in the water laboratory. Possible time and material savings were considered. Brief principles of DOE, which are necessary for subsequent solving of the defined task, are presented and explained in the theoretical part. In the frame of the practical part the fractional experimental plan for selected factors was suggested, realized and analysed. This plan served as a primary assessment of their effect. On the basis of the results of this plan analyses two full experimental plans were suggested, realized and analysed. From the results of these plans analysis, the optimal level settings of the significant factors were determined followed by verification tests. Furthermore, quality characteristics of the determination of AOX were calculated and compared with the current levels. All the characteristics improved, it means that the monitored analytical method was optimized. At the same time a possibility of time savings was proved by this determination.
