Abstract

This bachelor's thesis discusses the undertaking of professional practice at ABB s.r.o. in 2024 and 2025. The goal of the internship was to integrate into the development team of the CCP project, gain practical experience in software development, and contribute to the creation of an application for converting source codes of legacy PLCs to ABB’s latest system, 800xA. The thesis includes an introduction to ABB s.r.o. and the CCP project, an explanation of the technologies and processes used, a list of tasks performed during the internship, and a description of their execution. The conclusion evaluates the outcomes of the internship, focusing on the achieved results, as well as an assessment of the skills applied and those that were lacking.
