Implementace základních algoritmů v datových strukturách aplikačního rámce ATOM

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout základní algoritmy pro práci s polem streamů. Mezi tyto algoritmy patří operace insert, update, delete a read. Zároveň tato práce prozkoumává možnosti použití kompresních algoritmů při ukládání n-tic do pole streamů. Vedlejším efektem při zavedení podpory komprese u pole streamů je, že pole streamů je nyní schopné nativně pracovat s n-ticemi s různě velkou dimenzí. V závěru práce je srovnání použitých kompresních algoritmů mezi sebou a také s polem streamů, kde není použita komprese. Kompresní algoritmy použité v práci jsou založeny na fibonacciho kódování, RLE kompresi a na využití referenční položky.

The main goal of the thesis is to design and implement basic algorithm for stream array. These algorithms include operation insert, update, delete and read. The thesis also investigates utilization of compression when storing tuples to stream array. Secondary result when using compression is that stream array can natively works with tuples with variable dimension. In the end of the thesis is comparison of compress algorithms altogether with regular stream array. Compress algorithms used in the thesis are based on fibonacci coding, RLE compression and on utilization of reference item.
