Testing of Switching Behavior of Power Semiconductor Switches

Abstract

My master thesis deals with the Testing of switching behavior of power semiconductors. The first part of the thesis deals with the types of power semiconductor and it’s working.Testing of switching behavior of semiconductor switches, For example we can use any type of circuits like rectifiers or inverters etc. and we can use any components like IGBT or MOSFETs to test the transistors characteristics when it is ON and OFF. And we can get a result of characteristics using oscilloscope to acquire data and transfer to the PC by creating a tool in LABVIEW OR MATLAB or any other similar software. After transferring the data from oscilloscope to PC, its need to be calculate the characteristics data of the semiconductor switching transients.
