Abstract

Objective of this diploma thesis is the optimization of processes in a company Moravec Quality socks Ltd. and in particular, focusing on processes of production character. The emphasis is on the practical applicability of optimization proposals on the future operation of the company. This work has been compiled on the basis of theoretical and practical knowledge of the issues and especially the enterprise. In the first, theoretical, part of the thesis are general information about process management. Attention is focused especially on general practice process management in the enterprise, especially for the manufacturing area and the area of human resources. Next part of the theoretical part is devoted to the implementation of process management in the enterprise. Here we describe the different stages and procedures necessary for the successful implementation of process management into business operations - connectivity, efficiency and flexibility. In the last part of the theoretical part we are then focused on possible shortcomings and limitations for improving enterprise and software required for the highest level of process management. The most important information for the practical part stem from the family nature of the business. Therefore, it is also the beginning of the practical part devoted to a description of the company Moravec Quality socks Ltd., its history, vision, organizational culture, and especially the family involved in the business. The main source of information for improving processes perform thorough analyzes is the production area and especially the analysis of individual jobs and processes associated with the company. The final part of the thesis deals with the elimination of shortcomings and suggestions for improvement. We also expect the planned expansion of production and storage areas of enterprise and therefore any new solutions designed with this in mind. Numerous suggestions for improvements are also proposed in the area of human resources and associated processes in the company and, ultimately, improve production machines. This diploma thesis is a benefit for the company Moravec Quality socks Ltd. particularly in respect of its future development. Since the data used were valid, we can say that the results of this thesis is correct and it is possible to include them in decision-making on the future development of the company Moravec Quality socks Ltd.
