Využití různých druhů bezobratlých (Invertebrata) při kompostování

Abstract

Biotechnological methods of processing biodegradable waste and their transformation into natural organic fertilizer (compost) are evaluated very positively from an environmental point of view. The bachelor's thesis brings a comprehensive summary of information about animal species from the group of invertebrates (Invertebrata), whose life activities enable this biotransformation. The text describes individual taxa (Hermetia illucens, cockroaches, millipedes and earthworms) and the methods of biocomposting concerned, along with their advantages and disadvantages. The resulting evaluation then shows the perspectives and other possibilities of the problem being addressed.
