Srovnání technologických postupů likvidace starých těžebních sond v podmínkách České republiky a Německa

Abstract

This thesis reviews the process of abandonment and re abandonment of old oil&gas wells and the importance of these operations for the society. At the beginning, I describe the purpose and methods of well abandonment, especially the materials like cement and drilling fluid. Then I explain the basic principles and equipment used during abandonment operations such as coiled tubing, logging and well cementing. In the next part, I will compare the legal requirements on well abandonment in two neighboring countries - the Czech Republic and Germany, using my personal experience. Finally, I will compare and evaluate the procedures for well abandonment in both countries.
