Abstract

The objective of this dissertation thesis was to analyze the measurements, to evaluate the influence of controlled factors on the content of oxygen and nitrogen, and elucidate the thermodynamic processes during the smelting and cast-iron processing out of the furnace, with regard to the presence of endogenous bubbles caused by the presence of the gases in liquid metal mentioned above during the melting process in mid-frequency electric induction furnaces and rotary drum-type gas furnaces.
