Šárka Bernatíková, PhD. This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of burnout syndrome and its impact on firefighter safety. The aim of the work is based on the conducted questionnaire survey to describe what are the symptoms of burnout in firefighters. Compare the symptoms of firefighters in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the work provides a summary of information on the issue of burnout syndrome in connection with the profession of firefighter. The empirical part, which was performed on the basis of a questionnaire survey, describes and evaluates the data obtained.
