Porovnání rozdílů organizace mužských a ženských tenisových turnajů

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on analyzing gender inequalities in tennis, specifically between men's and women's tournaments. Although tennis is perceived as one of the more gender-equal sports, this work demonstrates that disparities in media coverage, access to funding, and overall public perception still exist. The thesis aims to identify the fundamental causes of these inequalities and offers recommendations for improving the situation. The analysis was conducted through a questionnaire targeting fans and players, a SWOT analysis, and a comparison of the organization of men's and women's tournaments. The results show that while there is considerable support for equality, practical and economic factors complicate the full achievement of gender equality in sports.
