Abstract

The goal of this work is analyze the current state of stocks in the enterprise and suggest possible improvements. Inventory control system is a demanding discipline that requires daily attention designated company employees. Purchasing department ensures the entire process from defining the specifics of the material, searching for suitable suppliers, material supply, to the incoming inspection and acceptance of the storage. The first part defines basic concepts of inventory. These are the concepts of resorces, supply, unventory management, storage and logistics methods used in. At the beginning of the practical part is characterized by firm TON a.s. Internal company materials were used in the processing of work. Further attention is paid to the current situation in the area of stock in the company. Followed by analysis of inventory management. The final chapter is devoted to interpreting the results of the analysis and suggestions for possible improvements. As possible improvements are recommended imtroduction of JIT or assessment the minimum reserves.
