Detekce registračních tabulek a čtení registračních značek vozidel

Abstract

The work deals with the detection of the position of license plates of vehicles. These license plates are read by a computer in real time after that. Image processing methods used in preparing the solutions are discussed in the theoretical part. The practical part describes the process of finding and reading the Czech registration plates. The solution consists of two main parts. Image processing techniques like segmentation and detection of objects by their properties, are used to find the position of license plate. Reading of license plate is performed by segmenting individual objects. These objects are read via neural networks after that.
