Ochrana dýchacích orgánů pracovníků v podzemí hlubinných dolů při haváriích

Abstract

The presented work describes the development self rescue apparatuses and working breathing apparatuses used in underground mines from the past to the present. Author explains the development of breathing apparatuses from the first historical attempts which allowed miners to stay in the unbreathable atmosphere since the mid-18th century to the present. There are mentioned several selected minig accidents in relation to the self rescue and breathing apparatuses. Subsequently is explained the purpose of using and basic structure of self rescue and breathing apparatuses.Work continues with overwiew of the self rescue and breathing apparatuses types used abroad. The emphasis is mainly put on the approval process related with the mentioned equipments. Approval process of rescue apparatus at the Main Mine Rescue Station in Ostrava is described in detail. In conclusion is proposed the concept of using of self rescue and breathing apparatuses in mining activities in the Czech Republic.
