Abstract

The topic of my diploma thesis is “The optimization of selected business unit portfolios with respect to motor fleet insurance“. The first step is to analyze the current approach to the insurance risk management set up. Special focus is dedicated to the clarification of the role of brokers and its impact on the fleet insurance profitability. The goal of the thesis is to introduce the proposal of the optimization of the insurance risk underwriting process in order to make it more effective for all participating subjects including the insurer, broker and business unit.
