Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to reveal the impacts of poor quality production, caused by employees and the influence of these impacts on the economy of an engineering company. Partial aim is to confirm or refute the stated hypothesis, which reads as follows: 70 % of production employees performs self-check of their work. To analyze the impacts of poor quality production is used Pareto analysis to reveal the cost of poor quality, 8D report for a structured solution to the complaint, the 5S method to determine the order at the workplace and elimination of waste, a method called five times why to determine the primary causes of the problem, Ishikawa diagram to reveal the main causes of the problém or a method called Kaizen ring to determine the specific proposals on improving processes in production. Based on obtained information and results are proposed recommendations, which should help to improve the situation in the company and to reduce the cost of poor quality production.
