Ekonomické zhodnocení využití vedlejších produktů ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s.

Abstract

The target of this Bachelor Thesis is alternative utilization of existing by-products of ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. with focus mainly on steel mud, steel slag and dusts from electro filters of Sinter plant in form of briquettes and resulting economic – technological evaluation of their utilization in tandem furnace as substitution of cooling material. In theoretical part, there is described metallurgy, by-products of metallurgical production and their processing technology, economy in metallurgical production with focus on steel production and impact to environment. Practical part describes individual tests with six variants of briquette composition, their technological and economic evaluation.
