Abstract

My bachelor thesis documents business activity in cargo railway transit. It analyses contemporary organization of business activity of the biggest Czech railway transporter ČD Cargo, a.s.. The part of this work is transcription of requirements of special knowledges of business managers and marketing workers. In the other part bachelor thesis deals with determination of conditions for transport of dangerous things by railway, separation of dangerous things as per classes of dangerousness, which are determined by Rule RID – Addition C to Arrangement. It also deals with responsibilities of participants of trasport of dangerous things and comparation of railway and motorway transportation from safety aspect. It is necessary to take care of living environment during transportation of dangerous things. If ecological accident happened, Intergrated safety system takes part in its elimination.
