This thesis is addressing the issue of setting priorities in providing humanitarian aid within the various conditions of the Czech Republic. The introductory part of the thesis is devoted to the general definition of humanitarian aid. In this section the provision of aid between states and supranational organizations is addressed. It also focuses on the legal framework for the provision of aid at the transnational level; the forms of humanitarian aid and the legal framework in relation to the aid within the Czech Republic. In the event that humanitarian aid is required in the Czech Republic, there are detailed workflows and processes on coordinating and solving emergencies. It also describes the level of involvement of the important entities in delegating the aid. The goal of this thesis is to compare data collection methods, in terms of speed, subsequent sorting and processing of the data and in terms of efficiency of the whole process. Also to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of those methods of the data collection and sorting.
