Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the research of hot strength and plastic properties of steel 30MnTiB with using uniaxial tension tests, which were performed at plastometer Gleeble 3800 in wide range of deformation temperatures. Uniaxial tension tests were performed at uniform tension rate 1000 mm•s-1, temperatures of deformations were elected in range from 650 °C to 1365 °C. Hot ultimate tension strength increases with decreasing deformation temperature. In the low-temperature ferritic-pearlitic region was observed steeper increase of hot ultimate tension strength. The ductility of investigated steel increased up to 1325 °C with increasing temperature. In two-phase ferritic-austenitic region was detected unexpected improvement ductility of investigated steel, which was apparently caused deformation, which probably took place preferentially in ferritic phase.
