Návrh řešení vybraných úloh informačního systému nemocniční lékárny

Abstract

Current information system of City Hospital Ostrava Fifejdy, doesn't support ordering and receiving delivery note of infusions. Therefore, doctors and nurses are forced to make this orders and deliveries by "hand". Pharmacy manager, who receive this orders is spending too much time with processing the papers and also managing the distribution of delivered infusions to each stations.

The purpose of this thesis is to make a law-abiding design enabling to order and recieve delivery notes of infusions.

First chapter summarizes basic theoretical concepts of a systems development life cycle by Hoffer, George and Valacich. There are also described basic concepts of database environment and three-level concept of data modelling by prof. Kaluža.

Second chapter consists of evaluation of present-day situation, i.e. how are the relevant precesses made.

Third chapter - rationalizing design consists of function description, i.e. diagrams - function structure diagram, context diagram and individual data flow diagrams. Information description consists of semantic, conceptual (E-R model) and logical (relational) model according to three-level concept. There are also form and report designs, process description (IPO diagrams), technical description, project management and cost-benefit analysis.

The fouth and fifth chapter includes evaluation of benefits of the thesis and suggests appropriate progress in the future.
