Abstract
The main objective of this thesis is to design retaining bar magnet according to the given input parameters. The introductory section is described problems of electromagnetic field, the magnetic circuit and his parameters, after that follows a brief description of the magnetic properties of materials and description of the electromagnet. In other chapters is being done the proposal electromagnet. Design of electrical instrument is carried out first numerically using the basic laws electrotechnics. Because in the procedure is being introduced several gross simplifications that are done at the expense of accuracy of solution is then selected to solve the more accurate method called the finite element method. This method uses several computer programs, which include the ANSYS, by which the electromagnet design in this paper and subsequently optimized. In the last part is a reflection on the issue of keeping tubes designed by a holding bar electromagnet.
