Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design measurement and evaluation pulse wave velocity from the time difference between the peak of R wave in QRS complex and the beginning of rising curve volume wave. The measurement is possible to expand by other sensors and we are able to get more data that give more information about a complex condition of a patient.The result of this thesis may be an improvement for non-invasive measurement of continuous blood pressure. The programme is completely written in Matlab that can easily communicate with external devices and provide wide options on programming and designing graphical user interfaces for easier service.
