Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to clarify adjustment of selection systems and adaptation of employees in a chosen organisation. Theoretical – methodical part of the thesis is focused on theoretical basis of selection and adaptation of employees. First there are some basic terms explained, which are related to the topic being solved. There are also descriptions of particular steps of the whole process given. This thesis is also focused on methods of selection of employees, success evaluation of selection and the most frequent mistakes, which are related to selection of employees. There are also some basic terms explained , which are related to adaptation of employees and explanation of forms of adaptation and methods of adaptation. There is also clarification of the adaptation plan and process provided. First in the application-verification part of the thesis, there is a brief characteristic of the chosen organization given, furthermore there are descriptions and analysis of the selection system and adaptation of employees in the chosen organization.In this thesis there was used an investigative questionnaire method for processing and evaluation of gained information. It was found, that the present system of selection and adaptation of employees in the chosen organization is quite satisfactory. However, there were made some suggestions and possible recommendations for improvement of the process of selection and employees adaptation.
