Abstract
Klečka, V. (2024). Ultra-lean combustion of dimethyl ether studied under laboratory conditions (Doctoral dissertation). Supervisor: Nevrlý, Václav. VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Ostrava.
Combustion is one of the most important processes used in the energy and industrial sectors. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in interest in the research and optimization of combustion processes due to the need to reduce emissions of harmful substances and increase the efficiency of energy systems. Dimethyl ether (CH3OCH3) is emerging as a promising fuel due to its advantageous properties such as low particulate emissions and potential for renewable energy production. This dissertation mainly focuses on the diagnostics of ultra-lean combustion of dimethyl ether, which represents a combustion process with a very low concentration of fuel in the air mixture.
