Abstract
The thesis, "Regional policy in selected countries of Central Europe" is to analyze and evaluate the impact of regional policy in Central European countries - Slovak Republic, Poland, Germany and Austria. The first part deals with the development and characteristics of regional policy and regional development. The second part is devoted to the concept of regional policy and the structure of strategic documents, including addressing regional disparities. The last part presents the analysis of major economic indicators in the countries of Central Europe and their subsequent comparison.
