The bachelor thesis focuses on current state of safety in explosive detection using the cynological service by the Police of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is dedicated to organizational structure and usage of cynological service at the Police of the Czech Republic. It also focuses on the process of explosive detection using service dogs, including a brief description of explosives and their effects. Subsequently, the training of service dogs to search for explosives is described. In the practical part, the identification, the analysis and the evaluation of risks that threaten when explosive detection using the cynological service. Based on the results of the analysis, new measures are suggested to reduce the consequences of the identified risks.
