Herní konzole založená na procesoru ESP32

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of software for a portable gaming console based on the ESP32 microcontroller. The theoretical part analyzes the hardware, utilized, its specific parameters and programming capabilities within the selected development environment. The core of the thesis lies in the design and implementation of an Application Programming Interface (API) that unifies the management of peripherals—such as controls, display, and audio output—thereby simplifying the development of new games. The functio- nality and usability of the created interface are demonstrated through three original sample games. Furthermore, the thesis documents the technical challenges encountered during development and provides comprehensive documentation of the resulting software.
