Abstract

The thesis dealt with a comparison of the old standard ČSN 73 3050 Earthworks and the new standard ČSN 73 6133 Design and implementation of earth body of communication over land. This problem is part of every engineering geological survey, because a workability of rocks affects the implementation of the earthworks. It clearly influences the technology of performed earthworks but also their costs. It was found that the classes of workability of old and new standards blend in those intervals thereafter. Workability classes 1, 2, 3abc, 4abc belong to the new workability class I. Workability classes 3de, 4def, 5 correspond to the new class II. And finally classes of workability 6, 7 belong to the new workability class III.
