Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis examines the position of the small Czech company SUM Odry s.r.o. within the internal market of the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to assess, based on the analysis of data and the company's business activities, how this enterprise, as a representative of small and medium-sized businesses, operates within the environment of the single European market. The theoretical part focuses on the development and characteristics of the EU internal market, including its fundamental principles and freedoms. Further attention is given to the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in this context. The practical part analyzes the activities of SUM Odry s.r.o. on the European market and identifies the key factors influencing its operations, business relations, and ability to adapt to the rules of the internal market.
