Abstract
This bachelor thesis describes the development of Nová Bělá district. At the same time engaged in the development of cities, their functions and their internal structure. A part of the work is also characteristic of town statutory Ostrava, which is divided into 23 town districts and the Nová Bělá is just one of them.
