Abstract

This diploma thesis solves the emergency calls receiving and dispatching the appropriate amount of manpower and fire appliances to accidents on motorways and speed roads in the South Moravian Region. Firstly it describes the motorways and speed roads in the South Moravian Region, then it gives a short summary of accident types where the emergency and rescue services respond to rescue and carry out relieve operations, and the Fire Alarm Plan (FAP) also pays attention to the reasons why the arrival times of the rescuers to the scene of accident are longer. There is a is detailed analysis of emergency calls in the next section including the error rates results in these emergency calls. New rules have been proposed to create the Fire Alarm Plan for motorways and speed roads in the South Moravian Region. These rules are based on the results of error rates, practical experience and requirements to change the current but insufficient system.
