Posouzení dopravy ve vybrané lokalitě na základě kamerových dat

Abstract

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the assessment of the traffic situation in Valašské Meziříčí in connection with the construction of a bypass. The assessment of traffic is based on data from surveillance cameras of the municipal police video system. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter explains the principle and operation of the surveillance video system, and the second chapter describes in detail the issues related to license plate recognition, along with the factors that can disrupt this process. In the practical part, individual steps are described, from selecting cameras, working with data, designing algorithms, to the output of the work. Finally, the results are summarized to determine whether the bypass is a solution to the intra-city traffic situation or not.
