Abstract

The subject of this thesis is urban and architectural transformation of suburbia. New housing in suburban degraded context of local Poruby around the watercourse Porubka (from November 17 st the street Bílovecká). Meet the needs of a new individual and collective living increasingly hectic middle class assumes economization construction of a retreat from the individualization towards konfekčnímu choice. The goal is to design a viable model economization housing while respecting the trends in the investment process. The work is divided into four parts. The first part of the opening. The second part contains an analysis of the current territory of Poruby the associated amenities, transport, public space. On the basis of these analyzes is designed suburbium viable. The third part of the diploma is divided into A, which deals with the present urban intensification, Part B deals with the transformation of current industrial zone to residential zone and part C addresses the design of objects for individual and mass housing. The fourth part deals with the theoretical question of suburbia, references and personal insight to the intensification of urban structures in contemporary architectural theory and practice.
