Abstract

This dissertation focuses on the Ledvice coal preparation plant as one of the inherent parts of mining activity in Teplice region, Czech Republic. Principally, the dissertation describes the technology of coal processing. The specific preparation processes and specialized machinery used in the Ledvice plant are described in detail. The main part of the work is centered around evaluating particular modernizing changes that took place under ecological pressure. The dissertation includes a proposal of how to increase efficiency and production capacity in one part of the coal production complex.
