Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of physical protection in
the brachytherapy workplace. There are briefly summarized information about ionizing radiation, workplaces with radioactive sources and about physical protection in the first part. Practical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the proposal of physical protection for an existing and a model brachytherapy workplace. Several solution variants, which lead to the minimization of radioactive sources alienation, were created after
the performance and evaluation of the risk analysis.
