Vliv prostředí na stabilitu montmorilonitu

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is dedicated to important layered phyllosilicate, montmorillonite. Montmorillonite is important sorbent of heavy metal cations. Magnetically modified form of montmorillonite was prepared by microwave radiation. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to study behaviour of both materials during interaction with deionised water. After contact both types of montmorillonite with deionised water in four different ratios of solid and liquid phase and in three different contact period the concertation of Na, K, Ca, Mg, Si, Fe, Ti, Al was measured byl inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy. The results of experiments show that Al and Ti in current conditions are not washed away from the structure. Assumption that exchangeable ions K, Na, Ca, Mg can be washed away from the structure was confirmed. Also, Si can be washed away from the structure by the deionised water this fact may significate structural changes in the layers itself. Magnetically modified montmorillonite shows similar results as non- modified montmorillonite, that means modification did not change stability of montmorillonite.
