Finanční analýza ve strojírenském podniku

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of financial analysis in a selected engineering company in order to evaluate the overall financial situation. The theoretical part specifies and defines the bases of financial analysis. There are described basic terms and methods, which are needed for practical part of bachelor thesis. The practical part briefly introduces a selected company that doesn't wish to be named. In this section, all techniques and procedures are applied to the situation in the company over the five-year reference period. The techniques used include profitability, activity, liquidity, leverage indicators, Altman's bankruptcy model and Kralick's Quicktest. An overall summary is made of the calculated results. The last part proposes recommendations for possible improvement of the financial situation of the company.
