Abstract
The present bachelor thesis focuses on analysis and optimization of the current process of interoperative inspection in the production of gears, which are further assembled into most parts of the vehicles. The theoretical part describes the methods of product quality inspection in the given manufacturing company. The practical part first identifies the most common non-conforming products occurring in the past production period using the Pareto analysis method. Subsequently, it detects the products with the highest degree of penetration into other manufacturing operations. For the most permeable parts, optimization of control operations is proposed so as to capture a larger number of non-conforming products directly in the place of their occurrence.
