Abstract

This thesis deals with the determination of the value of a selected company in the field of electrical installation. The aim of the thesis is to determine the value of the examined company using data from 2017 to 2021. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and an application part. The theoretical part defines the financial analysis procedures and the procedures in determining the value of the company. In the application part, the financial analysis of the company was carried out, followed by the part of calculating the value of the company. The analysis of profitability, indebtedness, activity and liquidity ratios was used. Synthetic indicators were used to determine the threat of bankruptcy of the company. Two income methods and one equity method were chosen as methods for determining the value of the company. Finally, the calculated enterprise value is presented and suggestions for improving the financial health of the company are given.
