Simulace optických sítí nové generace v softwarovém prostředí OptiSystem

Abstract

The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a simulation of an optical network based on DWDM and Super-PON technologies, and further focus on the analysis and implementation of these technologies in optical communication systems. yThesis covers theoretical aspects such as chromatic dispersion, polarization mode dispersion, and nonlinear effects, and their impact on the system. In the practical part, a simulation of the optical network is performed using OptiSystem software, which evaluates parameters such as transmission capacity, optical signal-to-noise ratio, and bit error rate. The results of the simulation provide valuable insights for optimizing the design of optical networks and their real-world deployment.
