SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED ENTERPRENEURSHIP AND ITS SUPPORT IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC IN THE CONTEXT OF EUROPEAN UNION MEMBERSHIP

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on small and medium enterprises, which are an important factor of every developed country economy. Small and medium-sized enterprises carry the potential, technological and innovative development in the European Union as well as in the Czech Republic. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze and compare the possibilities of support of small and medium-sized enterprises in the 2007-2013 and 2014-2020 programming periods and to propose appropriate recommendations for improving the use of support.

The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical starting points of small and medium business. The second chapter focuses on the possibilities of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the EU. The third chapter deals with the comparison of support and possibilities for drawing aid in the programming period 2007-2013 and in the programming period 2014-2020.
