Abstract

The thesis contains procedure of data processing, that is needed for aplication of security mechanisms, that are possible to use for JPEG 2000 or Motion JPEG 2000. This principle of videosequence coding uses an intra-frame coding, which means that sequence of frames is a sequence of separately coded pictures in JPEG 2000 format. This format provides better compresion rate and new required properties, which are enabled by main part of compresion algorithm Descrete wavelet transformation. Main security methods are divided into two types: the methods already implemented into basic parts of a standard and the concealment methods, that minimalize all of errors. There is a description of implemented techniques like JPSEC in part 8 or JPWL in part 11 of the standard, in the text. The LL subband method, the filtering techniques and the edge detections belong to the concealment group methods. The thesis contains a practical solution of mentioned methods by help of accessible libraries, selection of these methods and their application on chosen videosequences. Because of quality compresion measuring by PSNR, possible combinations of methods and their highest efficiency, including problems with computing complexity, are mentioned for the testing results.
