Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with travel movement and legislation that is connected with it for a period starting from year 1918, when Czechoslovakia was founded, till the present. In a first part there are mentioned the most important legal rules related to travelling. Next part occupies with the Act No. 159/1999 Coll., on some travel undertaking conditions, as amended, that has defined basic travel movement’s terms and has determined a travel agencies’ obligation to be insured for a possible risk of their bankruptcy. There is also a gloss to a situation after the act has been put in force. The last part presents a questionnaire sent to travel agencies to receive comments regarding present travel movement’s legislation.
