Automatizované měření odezvy LDO regulátoru na rychlou změnu zátěže

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is to create an automated measuring workplace for measuring LDO (Low-Dropout) regulators response to a fast load change in the application laboratory of SCG Czech Design Center s.r.o., which belongs to the supra-national group of companies called ON Semiconductor. At first the parameters, attributes and measurements of LDO regulators including a fast load change response measurement are introduced. This is followed by creating a concept of measurement and measuring scheme with presentation of available measurement devices. Firstly, the prototype of measurement device was designed and then created. The data collected from verification the functionality of the prototype was used in creating the final version. Based on the measurement concept, an application in LabVIEW graphical programming tool was created. This application controls the measurement devices and saves all the data collected from the measurements. The whole concept, attributes of the measurement device and functions of the application are based on the company requirements. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to evaluation and further improvement suggestions.
