Abstract

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the analysis of short-circuit phenomena from the occurrence of short-circuit phenomena to their consequences and the subsequent calculation of short-circuit currents on a practical example. The first part describes the causes of short circuits, types of short circuits, short circuits, and their consequences. In the following chapters, the procedure of calculation of short-circuit ratios from the standard ČSN EN 60909, calculations of parameters of system elements, and calculations of initial surge short-circuit currents for various phase short-circuits are presented. The last part contains an example of the calculation of short-circuit ratios, where the parameters of the elements are calculated in relative and physical values.
