Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of 3D printing technology for the creation of a demon-stration model intended for teaching principles of physical security. The aim of the thesis is to design and implement a modular model enabling a clear demonstration of the layered security concept. The theoretical part defines basic concepts of physical security, the principle of laye-red protection, and mechanical security systems. It also briefly describes additive manufactu-ring technology, especially the FDM/FFF method. The practical part focuses on the design, modeling, and production of the model, including a description of individual security ele-ments. The result is a functional model usable as a teaching aid in the field of physical securi-ty.
